Our Pharmacy Technician Certification program includes 77 hours of classroom instruction including skills practice, a comprehensive review, and preparation for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE) and other similar certification examinations. There are no textbooks for this program. All content for this program is online and students are expected to study online for a minimum of 7 hours per module.

Our Pharmacy Technician Certification program offers convenient day, evening and weekend schedules.
Over the course of 11 weeks, we combine 77 hours of classroom instruction with easily accessible online content. Students are expected to study online a minimum of seven hours per module. Day, evening and weekend schedules are available.
Upon successful completion of the program graduates will receive a certificate of completion. Graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician in their state and be prepared to take the PTCE offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Most states regulate pharmacy technicians in some way. Consult your state’s Board of Pharmacy for its particular regulations. Requirement for pharmacy technicians generally include some of all of the following:
Some states and employers require pharmacy technicians to have certification. Even where it is not required, certification may make it easier to get a job. Many employers will pay for their pharmacy technicians to take the certification exam.
Two organizations offer certification: The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
