For Agencies Sponsoring Boston Reed Students

This page is for organizations who pay training fees for students in Allied Health training coordinated by Boston Reed. Whether you represent the resources of the Workforce Investment Act, CalWORKS, public or private rehabilitation, this page represents part of our efforts to clearly and effectively do business together. Please see the Sponsored Student Process Chart (PDF) that summarizes actions of students, sponsors and Boston Reed.

Before Enrolling a Client

  • For details about the programs, call 800-201-1141 (Recorded information available 24 hours a day.)
  • To have course information sent to you; including schedules and enrollment forms, call 800.201.1141 to request for information to be mailed, faxed or emailed to you. Our classes fill up quickly, so we encourage you to enroll your clients as soon as you decide on our training programs. Don't wait to enroll them!
  • To check on whether we received your client's enrollment form -
    Contact us at 800-201-1141.
  • Use this website as a source for course information & outlines, online registration, and printer friendly registration forms.
  • To Enroll a Client

Our courses fill up quickly! Enroll your clients early! Don't wait! Have the student fill out the enrollment form indicating what program, city and start date they are interested in. Return the enrollment form to our Napa offices along with an authorization letter indicating counselor contact information, billing instructions, and any other pertinent information we need to communicate with you and your office.

    Once a Client is Enrolled

Your client/our student will receive a confirmation letter by mail indicating their enrollment or addition to a waiting list.

If Your Client is on a "Waiting List" for a Course...

Make sure they know to attend the first class meeting. Anyone that is enrolled and does not attend the first class meeting loses his or her seat in the class; therefore, it is imperative that your client attends the first session of instruction. Many times, students on the "waiting list" do get to remain in the class, due to no-shows or drops.

Once the Student is Attending Class

The Student Resource Page on our website has information and resources for enrolled students. It may be of value to you as well, as you support the student's success.

For tuition, billing begins after the first class session. The counselor identified on the authorization letter (sent to Boston Reed with enrollment form) can expect monthly reports on the student's progress in the class.

If You Do Not Receive Your Progress Reports...

Contact the Allied Health Supervisor Jade Carter 800.201.1141 ext. 5025 jcarter@bostonreed.com. The Allied Health Supervisor oversees instructors, curriculum, and externship coordination for each of the programs. If you are unable to make contact, contact Dana Bernard - President, 800.201.1141 ext. 5018 danab@bostonreed.com.

    Prior to Externship Placement

The student must have all prerequisite documents in to our office. Although we make every effort to place sponsored students to the top of the list for externship placement, we cannot begin the placement process without the students' required CPR Card, Physical and TB test, resume and externship questionnaire on file. We have prominantly posted in our Students area information All About Externships. For further questions about Externship placement progress, contact the Externship Coordinator Supervisor 800.201.1141 ext. 5016.

When Your Client Completes the Externship

Once a Student has returned the externship booklet to us, we are able to issue the certificate of completion. We send this directly to the student; if you require proof of a student's completion of the program, we can provide this to you. Please submit a document request form to the Student Records Department by mail or fax.
